Day 5, 2016.07.13 Kyakhta

We started faster then we all expected but it was still already 10:30. I had the nice idea of having lunch in Russia 140km to go and a border to cross. The 140km were done fast, the border crossing not. In Mongolia they were confussed why we ride with bikes that were not in our passports. When they fulfilled the carnet papers they confused us with different information in Asmirs and my carnet. We asked they compared and fulfilled the equal information it still confused us but they advised us to leave. God Advise check what they have to fulfil before you travel. In Russia we had to fulfil 3 papers twice before they let us pass. At least they helped us via google translator what we had to write. Nobody spoke more than a few words English at that border. It took us least 3h. In Russia we just had time left to change money, buy some food and look for a place to camp. The mosquitos already waited for us at least the smoke of the fire helped a little.
